Western Swing Radio Stations

Western swing is a subgenre of american country music. The genre emerged in the late 1920s as an offshoot of jazz in the western and southern areas of the united states. Western swing is up-tempo dance music and combines elements of various other genres such as american folk and roots music, western cowboy music, polka, dixieland jazz, bebop and blues which are all mixed with swing music. Instrumentation often used includes the steel guitar, saxophones, piano and drums.
